Terms & Refund Policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026

The short version

1Agreement

These terms cover your purchase and use of TextLevels (the "Plugin"), a software product for Squarespace websites operated by WeGo Ventures LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By purchasing, installing, or using the Plugin, you agree to them. If you're using it for a client, you agree on their behalf.

2Your license

When you buy TextLevels, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the Plugin, according to the tier you bought:

Your license arrives as a license key. Keep it private — it's tied to your purchase and to the sites you use it on.

Development, staging, and trial sites are free. If you're building something that will go live under a license you already hold, the work-in-progress version doesn't need its own.

Moving a single-site license to a different site is free too. Email us.

3Acceptable use

The license above is generous, and we ask a few things in return. You agree not to:

Using TextLevels on your own and your clients' sites — including paid client work — is exactly what it's for and is fully permitted.

4Refund policy

We want you to be happy with TextLevels. If it doesn't work for you, we'll refund your purchase in full within 30 days, no complicated conditions. If something's broken we'd love the chance to fix it first, but the refund stands either way.

Email [email protected] within 30 days of your purchase and we'll process it back to your original payment method.

Because a license key is delivered immediately and can't be "returned," refunds after 30 days are at our discretion — but we'll always try to make it right.

Before you buy: TextLevels needs Squarespace 7.1, a Core plan or above,

and an English-language Squarespace admin. It doesn't work on 7.0 or on the Basic plan, where Code Injection is switched off. We'd rather not take money we have to give back.

5Updates & availability

Your purchase includes updates and fixes for as long as we maintain the Plugin, at no extra cost. We may release new products or premium features separately in future; those aren't part of this one-time purchase.

We host the Plugin and your saved sizes on reliable infrastructure and aim for high availability, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service.

Enforcement never touches your live site. If a license is unrecognized or revoked, the editor menu switches off — but the site keeps serving its stylesheet and every heading keeps rendering at the right size. Someone visiting your site did nothing wrong.

If you ever stop using TextLevels, your content is safe. Every level is stored as an ordinary paragraph with a class on it, so removing the plugin leaves your text exactly where it was. What you lose is the styling. Want to keep the sizes? Paste your site's stylesheet — the URL is in your install snippet — into Design → Custom CSS before you remove it.

6Privacy

TextLevels is built to be privacy-respecting.

Want a copy of what we hold, or want it deleted? Email [email protected] and we'll do it.

7Warranty & liability

The Plugin is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We build and test TextLevels carefully and stand behind it with the refund policy above, but we can't guarantee it will be error-free or compatible with every configuration of a third-party platform (Squarespace) that we don't control.

TextLevels extends the Squarespace editor, which isn't designed to be extended. Squarespace can change it at any time, and if they do, TextLevels may stop working until we update it. Our first response will always be to fix it.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Plugin is limited to the amount you paid for it. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, such as lost revenue or lost data. None of this limits liability that can't lawfully be limited, and it doesn't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

8Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes won't retroactively reduce the license rights you already bought.

9Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.

10Contact
